The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of organizational sustainability factors on sustainable tourism, with an emphasis on the mediating role of resilience and dynamic capabilities. This research is descriptive-causal in terms of method and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study included all senior managers, supervisors, and senior staff of hotels, tourism complexes, and dormitories and guest houses in Bamyan city, Afghanistan. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by professors, as well as its construct validity and reliability by Cronbach's alpha test. In total, 234 people responded to the questionnaire non-randomly. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods and SPSS and SMART PLS 4 software. The findings showed that environmental factors, individual factors, organizational factors, and learning from crises have a positive effect on resilience. Also, environmental factors, individual factors, organizational factors, and learning from crises have a significant effect on dynamic capabilities. Furthermore, dynamic capabilities have a significant effect on resilience. Finally, dynamic capabilities have a significant effect on sustainable tourism, and resilience has a significant effect on sustainable tourism. The findings of this research can help policymakers and managers in the tourism industry develop sustainable strategies and also provide a basis for future research in the field of organizational sustainability and sustainable tourism in other regions.
