English

In recent decades, urban tourism has had an impact on Tehran's spatial changes, and the examination of current conditions shows that centralism has disrupted the process of realizing spatial justice in Tehran. This situation indicates that the concept of spatial justice has not been fully seen in Tehran's tourism planning and its implementation in the future, without explaining the necessary mechanisms, will face problems. This research tries to present a conceptual model of sustainable tourism with an emphasis on its spatial effects in the city of Tehran; for this purpose, with interpretive and critical paradigm, it uses comparative and interrogative logics; the current research is fundamental and mixed type (quantitative-qualitative) and the method of collecting information is library and field. This research adopts the method of logical reasoning; using this method, urban tourism criteria were explained in the form of 4 conceptual models, and with the two-stage Delphi technique, the consensus of 25 experts regarding the validation of these models was carried out. The results of the research show that among these four models, Alternative No. 3 will be more suitable than other alternatives due to the use of sustainable tourism criteria as well as compliance with the conditions and requirements of Tehran. This model pays attention to the diversity of audiences and attractions and specifies a method to collect information and analyze them and then provide strategies for tourism management in Tehran.
