Due to the inevitable function of the information technology in the development of the industry, in this survey has been an attempt to introduce the most recent tools existing in one of the working areas of the managers which is using technologies to do the marketing. In this survey the present situation and the lack of this kind of tools and the amount of usage of them in the hotels and travelling agencies in the Kurdistan province has been studied. The statistical population of this survey included 756 employees of the traveling agencies and also those working in the reservation and marketing departments of the hotels in the Kurdistan province. The sample size includes 255 people of these employees. The necessary data were connected through using questionnaire and the descriptive statistics was used to analyze them. The findings of the survey show that among the eight tools used in E-marketing, social networks, e-mail, website, mobile and intranet are used in the hotels and travelling agencies in the Kurdistan province, among this tools social networks have highest percentage and intranet have lowest percentage among respondents. Also, the highest percentage of using electronic marketing tools is simultaneously related to three e-marketing tools. Among the different kinds of social networks, three social networks are used in the hotels and Kurdistan travel agencies, these networks include: Telegram, Instagram and Facebook. The highest percentage of use is related to Telegram and the lowest percentage is related to Facebook.
