Abstract
The present study aims to identify and analyze the influential drivers of tourism in the field of tourism using the meta-synthesis method. In the present study, 44 related studies were extracted from various scientific databases from 2020 to 2023, which were examined using the seven-stage model of Sandelowski and Barroso. By analyzing their content, relevant concepts and categories were extracted, and the importance and priority of the concepts were determined using the Shannon entropy method. Based on the research findings, 77 concepts were identified in the form of 16 categories and drivers. These drivers include: establishing financial support centers, strengthening social responsibility, education and cultural context, structural dimension of tourism policy, strengthening technological infrastructure, support from legal authorities, behavioral dimension of tourism policy, administrative system and bureaucracy, quality of tourism services, dimension of tourism policy fields, development of the tourism industry, policy cycle, inputs of the network-based policy system, and national tourism planning, respectively, which have a higher importance coefficient among the categories and drivers affecting future-oriented policymaking in the field of tourism. The initial results of the findings of this research show that in order to design a future-oriented model in formulating tourism policies and policies in Iran, what drivers should be considered and by what mechanism and how do these drivers affect and be affected by each other.
