Investigating the Impact of Organizational Sustainability Factors on Sustainable Tourism, with an Emphasis on the Role of Resilience and Dynamic Capabilities

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational sustainability factors on sustainable tourism, with an emphasis on the mediating role of resilience and dynamic capabilities. The research is descriptive-causal in terms of method and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study included all senior managers, supervisors, and senior staff of hotels, tourism complexes, dormitories, and guesthouses in Bamyan City, Afghanistan. The data collection instrument was a standard questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by experts in the field. Its construct validity and reliability were also confirmed using Cronbach’s alpha. In total, 234 participants responded to the questionnaire through non-random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods and SPSS and SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that environmental, individual, and organizational factors, as well as learning from crises, have positive effects on organizational resilience and significant effects on sustainable tourism and dynamic capabilities. Finally, dynamic capabilities have a significant effect on sustainable tourism, and organizational resilience also has a significant effect on sustainable tourism. The findings of this study can assist policymakers and managers in the tourism industry in developing sustainable strategies and provide a basis for future research on organizational sustainability and sustainable tourism in other regions.
