Abstract
Water tourism attractions are one of the most important sources of tourism development in the world. Considering the existence of these structures in Yazd Province as one of the provinces with very little use of water resources and having two aspects of heritage and water, it has a lot of capability in civilization building in the past. They have become one of the main sources of tourism development in this province, which shows the necessity of identifying and prioritizing their development. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify and prioritize water tourism structures in Yazd province. For this purpose, questionnaires with a scale of 1 to 5 (Likert scale), based on the quantitative matrix evaluation technique, including eleven evaluation factors, were prepared and provided to local experts. Data analysis was done using fuzzy TOPSIS method. As a result, decision-making matrixes were formed and the structures were ranked. According to the findings of this research in the category of aqueducts, Zarch aqueduct has a higher potential to attract tourists than other aqueducts. In the category of water reservoirs, Ahmedabad Ardakan water reservoirs have taken the first place. In the category of other structures, Yazd Water Museum is ranked first. The results of this research are useful in identifying and especially prioritizing the development of water tourism structures in Yazd province and as a result, the possibility of allocating resources for their development based on the obtained rank.
