Identify Bushehr tourism industry development problems and offering the solutions



The main aim of this research was to identify the coastal province of Bushehr tourism developments' problems and offering solutions to attract tourists. The research method was exploratory mixed one. The population was divided into two groups: native and non-native tourists in the region. So 286 people were participated in research by convenience sampling. The number of executive and experts were 66 people that participated in the quantitative section by census and in qualitative section by targeted sampling. At first in the qualitative phase, tourism development hinders and obstacles’ framework, by exploring the theoretical foundations, literature review and deep interviews with experts and tourists were found by theme analysis and presented as list of contents analysis. Then in the quantitative stage, framework intended by item analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and construct validity was confirmed. A questionnaire with 38 item with Likert five degrees-designed and distribute between tourists and experts. To approve the fitness of questionnaire’s components, a confirmatory factor analysis was carried out.
Finally; 8 factors- economic, cultural, governmental, sanitary, geographical, recreational, political and welfare, were prepared. Furthermore, the presented indicators show this fact that the presented model is a suitable one in general and practical inputs complies with that very well. Based on the interview interviews with experts and tourists; tourist attraction strategies were presented that deal with every factors can solve huge tourism problem and develop this industry in Bushehr.
